Pakistan hotel attack averted by police

Pakistani police claim to have prevented an attack on a five-star hotel in Lahore, the country's second largest city.
Police have announced the arrests of six suspects, including a 15-year-old boy and an imam.
It is believed an explosive vest with 26 hand grenades and detonators was detected during a raid on the alleged rebels.
Police have described the detainees as Taliban fighters who wanted to kill Americans in Lahore's Pearl Continental Hotel. Email this story to a friend
